Early Intervention
The Earlier the Better- Support Your Child & Yourself!
Every child develops and grows at their own age, whether it’s learning how to walk or talk, some do it early while others get delayed in these skills. But, this shouldn’t be taken lightly, the earlier you get help for your child’s development, the better. That’s where early intervention comes in.
E.I.S (Early Intervention) gives specialized, tailor-made support to children & family in the early years of growth from (0-5 years) i.e. from birth to school entry.
At weaving emotions, we believe in making your child and family as comfortable as possible with the process, which is why you can consult online and pick a time convenient from the set of appointments available.
We understand better than anyone that every family and child is different & needs a consultation that deals with their priorities, but always remember the most important step is to start early!
Other services one can opt for in addition to the one mentioned above when the child qualifies are as follows:
✔ Speech and language therapy
✔ Physical or occupational therapy
✔ Psychological services
We first carry out an in-depth evaluation such as observations, tests as well as interviews to assess the following factors:
✔ Communication skills (talking, understanding, listening)
✔ Cognitive thinking ( learning ability, solving problems, perception)
✔ Physical and sensory responses (crawling, walking, sight etc)
✔ Emotional and social skills, (understanding emotions, making friends, playing with others and,
✔ Self-help skills (bathing, dressing)
